We just don't seem to have any ideas at the moment and several players need to start performing. Scholes doesn't look as sharp as he used to and Giggs has been rubbish for a couple of seasons.

At this rate I can see us struggling to finish third.

I am convinced SAF reads my posts here link :D

Ahhhhhhh!!!!

Now that's what you call a result :D

If you're going to end a team's record unbeaten run, you may as well do it properly

Chances are I will, after all Arsenal will be devastated to lose their winning streak and I'll feel sooooooo sorry for them

I'll bet that 49 game unbeaten run was like a noose hanging around their necks, now they will be able to play football.

Awww come on, you don't really expect the Arse fans to come out with excuses do you......? ;)

They lost, plain and simple. To United :)

Ahhhh.....!!

Ahhhh.....!!

There was that possibility, just trying to get their excuses out of the way Russ.

Good for the Arse that they managed to have such a good run for so long but sadly all good things must come to an end and I make no apologies for feeling extremely smug. I'm now just longing to see Arsene Whingers face, will he admit that Man U deserved it or make some feeble excuse ?? :D :D :D

Oh in that case you missed out:

The referee didn't see it.

We were under pressure.

The fixtures are congested.

We're still the champions
I'm sure I may have missed a few out...all as equally irrelevant :D

And I agree with Debs, after listening to them whining about their winning streak for so long, it is VERY hard not to be smug, especially when you're a 19-year long fan of the team who beats them :D

LOL, they deserved the win, so well done to them. Pity they didn't play them 8 matches ago.

Wenger also said he felt Arsenal were the better team :disturbd: :disturbd: :disturbd: , did you see his face when the 2nd goal went in?????? It was a Picture :D :D :D :D :D :D The only bad point to come from the game is, why didn't he play Smith and Saha from the start? I prefer Saha and Smith to Van-Nistelroy and Ronaldo.

Well as an Arsenal fan although it pains me to say it well done Man U.

Although Man U were not brilliant by any means Arsenal will lacking in every area today.

I think the referee didnt help either as he seemed to be blind folded for the first 30 mins and blinkered for the next 60 mins.

Rooney should have won an oscar for that dive not a penalty ;)

And then it seemed the refs poor sight spread to his other officials when Rooney popped up from offside for the second goal.

Then again Lauren should have been booked for diving and Viera and Cole and Edu were lucky to stop on the field.

Henry was lacking his usual panache and rarely ran back to win balls and help out in defence.

And Freddie should have had a free kick for Ferdiand barging him off the ball.

All in all united deserved the win but not by the way it came.

Now the 49 game unbeaten tag is out of the way we can play some proper football.

:D
