It's for the thrill and excitement of waiting for Atlantic to appear...and then the huge anti-climax that it's only a local channel launch haha

To be fair to MB he does provide a lot of good info, he can only go on what he is told.

I think it's the novelty of just having it rather than actually watching anything on it lol

I'd prefer to have Sky's UHD content over Atlantic, but that's just me.

Sky Atlantic does terrible numbers. It costs Sky more money than they get. Quite remarkable how spiteful and ridiculous they are. They're willing to LOSE money as they still demand the original amount of money they asked for back in 2014.

Very, very odd!

Any remaining local tv launches should be from the That's TV stable, and they tend to not launch on cable so, maybe the next big news will be Sky Atlantic. Or maybe not. :D

That would be good. Any UHD content including that from Sky would be great news.

On the flip side vm were offered it at a price so they are as much to blame as SKY for vm not having sky atlantic, vm could of easily bid for HBO content too when SKY were re-nogotiating with HBO but as usual vm decided not to bid and instead whinge "poor us, big bad SKY won't give us sky atlantic, poor us big bad bt won't give us AMC"
BT, SKY and VM need their heads banging together.

nope I'm not anti SA just think it so over hyped not the only thing that is mind TBF look at viewing figures vast majority of sky customers don't watch it

PS for the record I do wish sky would change there stance on SA and let other people have it too

I totally agree with you on it being overhyped all i'm saying is SKY seem open to the idea of it being more widely available now ;)

SA is Sky's best non premium channel. If you look at the Now TV Entertainment Pack and observe all those programmes we've missed over the years, you would realise that.

Like all Sky's regular channels, the fillers between those programmes tend to be absolute dross.
