Re: [Update] Windows 10 Discussion
Windows 10 Question:
Can you still install Windows 10 from scratch (ISO download) and get it to activate...or do you need to upgrade a Win 7 installation? I know the freebie upgrade period has long since expired but I sure I read somewhere where was a way to install W10 and activate it. Any ideas? |

No - I mean using an existing W10 key or two computers... |
Re: [Update] Windows 10 Discussion
Depends what type of key you have. If it is just for 1 PC then that's all you can use it for. If it is for multiple ones then yes you can do it.
If for 1 only then that will be the original one it was installed on. |

Re: [Update] Windows 10 Discussion
So I updated to the recent version and couldn't find the screen
saver... I typed it into the search panel over and over and it kept saying there was no screen saver. I had to go online to actually get the answer.. because MS has decided to really hide the control panel right at the bottom of the Lock screen panel. Idiots! |
Re: [Update] Windows 10 Discussion
Right click on START should give you quick access to the old control panel unless that is now removed.
I didn't think people used screen savers ant more. |

Getting the creators build overnight. The update was forced on me, got a message on my laptop when I got home today from work saying it had been installed, but we need to restart to finish some odd jobs. Chose to do it overnight. Hope it works fine.
