Cable Forum - Snow !

Been out and its bad.

We have had 8" overnight (I measured the wall I cleaned off last night) and the path near my car has 16".
This is a pic of the MAIN road thats 200yd from my house.

There have been one or 2 brave souls that have tackled it.

im going to walk to Tesco to buy some cigars -and asses the main road situation

tesco closed -thankfully the paper shop is all weather .

cant get my van out of my street -got it stuck in middle of the road had to dig it back to the verge ,oh joy .

Left the house at 5:15 this morning, to be confronted by 8 inches of snow on top of the car, and more than that on the main roads...

Managed to drive (slowly!) to work, to find that, not only am I the only Technical Manager in (out of 6), I appear one of two of the most senior managers in, which is a nuisance :D . Even more so, when only 4 of my 10 staff have rolled in...

A good lesson, but I'm using today as leverage for a day off when I haven't got to share it with all of the Grimsby reprobates trying to cob a snowball of my very bald head from 40 yards away ;)

No snow predicted for today. so it's snowing outside. you can never rely on the weather people to predict the weather.

Well yesterday mornig there was some snow (less than 1 inch), started to snow again last night, but this morning it seems to be going away.
