The standard calculator on Windows 10 doesn't work properly. It doesn't follow BODMAS, the scientific one does though.

Re: [Update] Windows 10 Discussion
most calculators don't follow BODMAS unless you switch to scientific mode in my experience but hey use brackets and it don't matter ;)
---------- Post added at 18:05 ---------- Previous post was at 18:03 ---------- does any one else use ( unlocker 1.9.2 ) it seems that an update on it or windows not sure which makes it unusable and it gets reported as a virus :( if you do have you found an alternative . |

Im on Win98se and it doesnt either..... When you have 3 + 2 x 2.5,ya first type in 3 + 2 and the calculator will add those as soon as you hit 'X' YOU CAN THEN CONTINUE WITH YOUR OPERATION!! (Provided the preview doesnt confuse you) Yes you can switch to advanced (Scientific) but it isnt really needed...... |
Re: [Update] Windows 10 Discussion
I haven't seen these adverts in file explorer in either my Win 10 tech preview PC (even though it's done a few updates over last week or so ) or the laptop with win 10 home on it, but there's plenty of guides to remove them, but their appearance seems random, may be
linked to machines that had the "free" upgrade from Win 7 or 8? http://www.infoworld.com/article/317...-explorer.html https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/...dows-10-a.html http://www.theverge.com/2017/3/9/148...-file-explorer |
