Not yet, i will give it a few days to see if it starts working again as it didnt work at first the first time around.

Don't bother waiting, just phone them and they will give you a new key.

Got it sorted using online chat and PC access, i had to provide proof on MB purchase and gave them my original Windows 8 key, it took ages but it is all sorted now, not sure what kind of key i have now as it isnt a digital rights key anymore, but it is working.

Thanks, that is how i did it the first time, but after i changed the date time it went pear shaped and that method kept giving an error, but anyway MS sorted it now and i have a physical, so it may have worked out well.

The standard calculator on Windows 10 doesn't work properly. It doesn't follow BODMAS, the scientific one does though.

Re: [Update] Windows 10 Discussion

most calculators don't follow BODMAS unless you switch to scientific mode in my experience but hey use brackets and it don't matter ;)

---------- Post added at 18:05 ---------- Previous post was at 18:03 ----------

does any one else use ( unlocker 1.9.2 ) it seems that an update on it or windows not sure which makes it unusable and it gets reported as a virus :( if you do have you found an alternative .

Every so often after an update W10 starts telling that Kaspersky and/or Defender arent running. Why?

No but no reason to is there??

Im on Win98se and it doesnt either.....

When you have 3 + 2 x 2.5,ya first type in 3 + 2 and the calculator will add those as soon as you hit 'X' YOU CAN THEN CONTINUE WITH YOUR OPERATION!! (Provided the preview doesnt confuse you)

Yes you can switch to advanced (Scientific) but it isnt really needed......

I haven't seen these adverts in file explorer in either my Win 10 tech preview PC (even though it's done a few updates over last week or so ) or the laptop with win 10 home on it, but there's plenty of guides to remove them, but their appearance seems random, may be
linked to machines that had the "free" upgrade from Win 7 or 8?

I've gone back to W7 on both laptop and desktop. I do still have W10 on a 2 spare HDD's but once support ends for W7 I'll most likely go Linux.
