A bit sad at hearing this, Brown has huge potential, it's a shame they couldn't agree on a payrise for him.

Grrrrrr @ agents!!

this seems another matter of a player listening to his agent rather than thiking about being a footballer.. he has great potential and we should keep him.. the rio thing last season showed how much we need cover across the back four.

well after Rooney's Euro debut in the week everyone had to come back down to earth.

Only saw the highlights but we didn't seem to play well against a team we should have beaten. Shouldn't put too much on Rooney's shoulders until he's played about 10 games really and with Smith in the side we can easily rotate things.

Off to the Palace v Fulham game tonight but expecting Palace to loose. Once again every match i've been to this season either United or Palace has been on TV!!!

I haven't :) Still got a big grin after Saturday. I wish I'd put something on Chelsea winning 1-0 though, the 1-0 winning experts playing the 1-0 losing experts was always going to end, er, 1-0. Gits.

Alan Green

With his blatant anti Man United views, it's a pity he never got the sack anyway, oh well

Could Emirates be leaving Chelsea to sponsor Arsenal? Or at least Arsenal's new stadium? Have a look at who has registered EMIRATESSTADIUM.COM.

Is that a sackable offence now?

Green's a Linfield fan who dislikes Alex Ferguson, a mutual feeling apparently but I've heard him slag off virtually anyone he thinks are playing crap. Interesting article from a few years ago (from a United website, to boot).

I suppose not, but I was under the impression commentators were supposed to remain impartial, although I could forgive a commentator getting slightly biased for the national side.

I have listened to Green on many a Saturday afternoon when united have been on, and his commentary leaves a lot to be desired at times.

On another note BBKing, have you purchased your executive box for Ashburton Grove yet ? A snip at £160,00 0 per season, twice the price for one at Old Trafford, it is no wonder football fans in London travel north.

Not many are though, Tyldesley creams himself over Man Utd, Tyler with Arsenal.
