This is pathetic! I've been trying to download 20 cigarettes and today's Guardian from the local sweetie shop for the past three hours with NO success!! There's obviously something wrong with their servers.

I think the interweb is broke and I suspect that bad boys did it and ran away.

Seems to be lots of activity here, some of it quite usefull for my purposes...
I work for NTL, and we ARE aware there is a problem, what we are not aware is the exact server or servers responsible, specifying proxies does seem to resolve in most cases.
If any of you can advise what you think is the problem with soemthing to back it up, I'll monitor the thread untill I go home at midnight.

If I get any update on what we have found I'll post that too.

I fu*ked it all up i upgraded to 10mb to,:dozey: as soon is i get something good it f*cks up:mad:

I should have stayed on 1mb

It's really bad here as well - I'm in NG5, one minute it works, next minute it doesn't. I really like the fact I can't get to the server status page!

The only thing I know is an abnormal amount of traffic hitting the dhcps, all cache servers / dns respond normally at present.

I suggest you look closer at your dns clusters - both 194.168.4.100 & 194.168.8.100 are intermittently timing out or reporting errors, that's why it's spread across all area's and all proxy servers. :)
