One of my favourite horses is almost certainly running his final race today at 2.25 in the Ayr silver cup, the old boy is 10 now but he's definitely in with a chance today and it's not out of sentiment a small part of my children's inheritance will be riding with him.

A lot of water to pass under the bridge between now and the Cheltenham Festival as there are probably a few talented horses that have yet to race this season.

Sadly not a great spectacle yesterday with Surrey Quest out early, Spanish Harlem taken out by another horse and The Kniphand losing his life sadly.

Sadly l had second at 66s each way.
