Has anything been said about AMC being part of this deal and also joining XL?

BT 4K is only available for those that have Infinity 2 so for those areas which only have Infinity 1 like my area you won't get BT 4K

Had a webchat with BT yesterday because I wanted to find out my likely BB speed and without a line to check its a bit of a guess. Anyway, the person I was chatting with gave me the usual Infinity 1 & 2 'upto' speeds as well as an Infinity 3 speed of 220MBs. I said I wanted an exact speed so was put through elsewhere and then given a number to call. I thought the guy I was speaking to was going to jump down the line when I asked about Infinity 3. "WHO TOLD YOU THAT?" was his response along with a few other choice words before calming down to tell me that Infinity 3 hadn't been released yet and was still being tested - no further info available.

End result is I can, like you, only get Infinity 1 (at the moment) and look forward to the day when I can see football in 4k.

Not going to happen. The service is launching exclusive to BT TV customers through their YouView boxes.

It's also available on Sky for customers who take BT Sport.

Yes - AMC is exclusive to BT Customers - but those who get BT Sports on a Sky box are BT Customers.

It doesn't start until September - so perhaps it will come to VM.

I do wish the media would stop mis-quoting in their articles. The BT TV platform refers only to BT's IPTV platform, so when I see this quoted, you expect that it only refers to that service, & not "BT customers taking TV" or "exclusive to BT customers" which refers to the IPTV & satellite platforms.

There is NO mention of satellite customers in this article:

The BT website has clearly stated that AMC will be available on Sky boxes to BT Sport Pack customers!

However, there doesn't seem to be any recent pages or currently linked pages mentioning AMC at all on bt.com

Yes i knew i had seen something stating it was coming to Sky customers who take BT sports too. I guess by the XL package going up by £3 a month to cover the cost of BT Sport Europe indirectly makes us BT customers also. I can't imagine VM would negotiate with BT just for BT Sports when they knew AMC was coming also and then having to go back to negotiate again.
