Hamilton started with so much promise but as the seasons pass he has become more and more arrogant and now he just comes across as a petulant spoilt little brat.

He needs to look in the mirror and ask why it is he never gets along with his team mates for long.

It's really only Alonso he's reported to have fallen out with, and even he's said this week that it was more to do with the team management than his relationship with Hamilton.

Personally a good start tomorrow for Hamilton and I think Rosberg's in trouble from the Williams behind him.

Summed up perfectly.

Pleased Hamilton won the race after his earlier electrical problems, helped by an error from Rosberg, great to see Massa on the podium again too.

Pleased for Massa, apart from that HUMBUG.

What do people think of the conspiracy theory doing the rounds in the BBC comments section that Rosberg deliberately made those 'mistakes' under team orders?

That would not surprise me at all as German's have a track record of using underhand tactics in F1.

If he did then he's a fool - even if he'd been told to do but it he shouldn't have. But I don't believe it. The truth is that Hamilton was quicker all weekend, probably by as much as a quarter of a second a lap, and Rosberg had already made the same mistake earlier in the race when actually the risk would have been to hand victory to Williams. Hamilton put him under pressure at the right time - against the advice of Peter Bonnington don't forget - and Rosberg couldn't handle it. If Hamilton wins this championship then it will because of this psychological victory, imo.

I don't half feel sorry for Rosberg being booed again though - really not deserved. He isn't as good as his car so it stands to reason he's going to make mistakes.

Delighted to see my team 3rd and 4th and well on their way back. Shame about Bottas' start, I think he'd have challenged second place more than Massa, but in truth that's not their race. Yet.

Yes, nice to see Williams on their way back. Had a soft spot for them since the days of Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve.

Yep - proper team racing for the right reasons. And by far and away the best looking car on the grid this year. And Bottas is a superstar (and I love the way Jonathan Eddolls says Valteri!)

Not sure it was worth starting a new thread for this yet, but a pretty spectacular crash in the first Formula E race:

You know when they show the drivers in their cars with their helmets on and you can only see their eyes and nose? Looking at Nico Prost on the grid yesterday it was scary how much he looked like his dad. Got me a bit choked.

Did anybody watch it? I was a little underwhelmed if I'm honest. Fortunately the fan-boost didn't seem to have much effect, and it certainly wasn't made obvious when it was being used - I had feared some sort of fanfare. Hopefully that will quietly die a death now. The track was very poor, but I suppose that's the trade-off if you want to race in iconic cities. Hopefully this series will put an end to talk of a London f1 Grand Prix. The cars look awesome, and there was some good racing in midfield. Also nice to see the top half so close at the end of the race, but I'm sure that will go with development next year. Any drama in the pit stops has been lost, and if anything the series shows the limitations of the batteries. Had we not had the safety car I think some would have struggled to make the end. Had it not been for the crash at the end, which we can say was stunning because nobody was hurt, there wouldn't have been a lot to say for this race.

We'll see, i'll certainly give it more time.

More perishing rule changes - not that one thing not permitted is warning of brake wear/temperature - which will probably be dropped after a major brake failure accident!

Also in rules for 2015 ... standing restart after the safety car - why don't they just dump the safety car altogether and go back to the old restart.

The safety car does not belong in F1, before it, it was either good enough to stay on yellow flags in the problem area, or bad enough to stop the race - it's too easy for them to throw "SC".
