Just had some torrential rain in Cambridgeshire, had to rush and close the windows, unfortunately it only lasted 5 mins!!!!

We are getting some light rain which is better for the gardens than heavy rain.

Got a really heavy downpour for 20 mins just then. Was so heavy the Sky went off.

It rained during the night and again early this morning, the air feels a lot fresher. Next the grass is going to need cutting. :rolleyes:

Its been pretty relentless Tinky but the good news its just a short term blip for those sun worshippers.:)

I'm also glad to have a few days of rain and cooler weather, but it should return to warmer weather in a few days here, i just hope it is not as hot as the last 2 months!!!

We needed some rain anyway, wouldn't mind another day or two of this before the sun kicks in again.

I don't mind a drop of rain. We need that but the howling gale isn't doing my bedding plants any favors. :(

My Dad commented earlier to Mum as his words were at least we won't have to water the garden today dear.:)
