Lucifer S2E1

Bah. Few more episodes of this and I'll call it quits. They've got a very interesting idea to work with and they insist on playing it off and going down the dull Cop procedural drama route. This will die soon if it continues like this. Let the Devil out. :D

The more negative feedback they received from Season 1 was based around the dull cop procedural element. Given the quick turn around I have a feeling they were filming half of the second season before the first had finished. Either that or they're just plain ignoring the majority. Looked around the usual discussion boards and unfortunately its once again the main topic.

CW, pick up Lucifer and bring Constantine standalone back.

All they do these days is the situation and expect the comedy to naturally come. Most shows only have 2-3 real gags and you can see them coming 10 minutes before they actually arrive and even then they're just not funny.

I know it is a long list but it is an example of some of the series I have watched and thoroughly enjoy. You have got your usual Stargate and Star Trek in there which could keep you going for a while but I am sure there are plenty of other series which you haven't previously considered. If you don't want anything too sci-fi-y Alias, Homeland and 24 and excellent at keeping you on your toes. Dexter is another one which keep you coming back for more and it feels good to like what should be a bad guy.

season 3 finished this week. As far as survival/apocalyptic stuff goes it isn't as good as other series because it has a very specific and unrealistic story line but it is still good from a scifi point of view.

Mythbusters video game spacial - Focusing on Doom, it was the first video game that engaged me and an early FPS. Virtually invented the genre. Despite the blocky graphics it's still an enjoyable romp.:)

We've just got the last two episodes of season 6 to watch.

A magnificent series. They're due to finish filming season 7 this spring, apparently it's taking longer than the others because of the breadth of content.
