My son had his long awaited child development clinic appointment yesterday, they have given us a rough initial diagnosis, are having a meeting about him then we have another appt next Wednesday. We should then get a formal diagnosis and start any necessary further referals and get some sort of a care package together.

I know... happy thought? Him being diagnosed with something and needing referrals and a care package? Yep! It's taken blinkin well long enough and now we should be able to get the help he needs so I'm happy (if occasionally bursting out crying but blaming that on hormones) :cleader:

As it's always been a relief to me to finally have a label applied to whatever is going wrong I know what you mean Fingy about it being a happy thought.

It gives you something concrete to fight against and deal with and it's a pity that you have had to wait so long to get to this point.

Please let us know how you go on with the next stage. :hugs:

You're serious? You passing up an opportunity like this because of one bus?

I lived 211 miles away from my partner, we're now living together.

I mean, one bus? I travel further than that to go to work every morning.

I wouldn't say 'No' :)

Coventry Bees in the speedway grand final of the playoffs, first leg. Could well belong in the moans thread later :( along with  commitments that stopped me being there.

That sounds so good - she is deffinitely on the mend and so happy for you both.

Rehab and therapy can be 'trying' to everyone - just stick in there - it can be a slow piece and you'll do fine supporting her :)

Laugh for the day:

Bloke in front of me on the train gets up 5 minutes before the station and walks 2 carriages back to make it look at if he's exiting the train from first class :D what a snob!

I guess it's like when people who move the peg down the weight stack before they get off the exercise machines at the gym.

That all sounds wonderful SB.

Could I ask a favour? Any chance you could send some sunshine over here for us poor members who are looking forward to a week of wind and rain whilst you languish in the sun next to your pool. :D

Too many pages to catch up on, has Fingy had the baby yet?

My happy thought......

Well after 1 year+ of living in absolute utter walls-closing-in-on-me-24-hours-a-day-please-let-me-kill-myself HELL......... with not one, but TWO sets of noisy chavvy muppet neighbours who act like the Clampetts... I am MOVING!!!!! :cleader::cleader:

:D :D :D

In other happy news, my gorgeous clever babba can now pull herself up to standing and is on the brink of walking :Yikes:

(That's a moan really, but i should act proud, right?)

Pia I'm glad to hear you are finally getting a new place to live. Bad neighbours can truly make your life a misery. Didn't realise your little one was at the walking stage, how time flies, and yes you should be proud of her and Cameron, take after their Mum no doubt.

I think Fingy's baby is due around middle of November.:)

@ Pia. Very pleased to hear that you are moving away from your nightmare neighbours. :)
