Wow nash, someone else who can afford the outrageous price of pasties, lol :D Think we'll stick with cold cuts and salad. WeatherBug tells me that it's 24 degrees now, as does the app on my phone. All I can say is, it's HOT! :D

You can't beat quality sausage. it's more expensive than what you can get for your money. but it's worth it.

if you're wanting to have a bit of sausage, then treat yourself to some quality sausage.

Just had a chicken kebab for lunch. Tomorrow likely to be noodle soup.

Boerwors is a really good sausage as long as it's pure beef with maybe a little lamb fat, no pork else it goes pink and doesn't taste as nice. Braai (BBQ) it and server with some pap and a nice rich sauce.

There are many different versions of that recipe LR. Mine is mashed potato, spring greens, lightly sauteed onions (preferably shallots, they're sweeter) and mature cheddar. You can use swede in it also. I use what I have at hand. The wife doesn't complain when I make a change, it always tastes OK. Or so She claims :)
