Edit: It's done, besides annoyingly re-pinning their own apps back to the taskbar, nothing seems broken.

Have to agree, very annoying to find some of the bloatware I'd deleted or disabled appears to have been re-instated!

Did they botch something again? A midweek update (After the anniversary edition) re-ticked proxy boxes (Disabled on purpose) and crippled a load of programs.

-Origin - Wouldn't display anything
-Steam - Would log in but wouldn't display store
-uPlay - Wouldn't log in
-Skype - Would log in but wouldn't display the home page
-Spotify - Would log in but then claim it was offline.

I shouldn't have to go searching for settings being re-enabled after each update, everything should be where I left it. Windows 10 has a nice layout and I do like it but Microsoft are really starting to get on my... etc.

People have had issues installing this update, although mine installed fine.

Was done in 5 minutes (A Bugatti compared to the last one), just proxy issue above, I have no idea why it re-enabled settings I'd purposely disabled after the update. The anniversary update kindly pinned Edge and Windows store to my taskbar, cheeky sods.

For once I had NO issues after the last update. Everything I disabled stayed Disabled. Firefox stayed as my Browser and Edge gone to Oblivion. :)

Re: [Update] Windows 10 Discussion

My computer died last week, i worked out it was either the i3 processor or the motherboard, but seeing the motherboard chipset was so old and hard to source i replaced both of them with a newer chipset MB which also worked with my DD3 memory modules.

As Windows 10 was tied to the hardware i was worried i would lose activation which i did, but after a few clicks in Windows i was back up and running fully activated, i was expecting to have to call Microsoft and persuade them to reactive.

edit

Scrap the above as i noticed the date and time was wrong on the PC so i am guessing when i changed it it borked the activation and now i can't get it activated as the servers are down, will keep trying.
