Why do people on here keep on repeating the question `when will we get the missing HD sports channels from sky` or `will we get them before.....` They will come when they come guys! Stop acting like kids pestering their parents with the cry `Are we there yet?`

MB here's a question. Do we think that virgin anywhere access (on mobile) to sky sports will occur around the same time? Or likely to be a bit longer?

At the moment if I'm correct you can only access sky sports on one particular laptop or computer. Will this change or still be locked to one particular device? I like watching it then I'm in work and it's quiet but also would love it on my phone then it arrives. I wouldn't know what device to pick otherwise...

I didn't ask "when will they come?", I asked "will they be here by the 18th?", because I'd like to know if they'll arrive before the German Grand Prix.

I think that's a fair enough question.

Why you feel the need to comment rather than just ignore me - that's the thing I don't get.

I guess this thread is a long one and a victim of its own success. From previous posts, everyone who reads this thread frequently will know that the Sky Sports HD channels will launch in July and not during the World Cup.
For such people, comments like "any channel launches this week?" when it's a World Cup week or "when will the HD channels appear?" may appear a bit tedious. But if the posters asking these questions have not read the previous posts then they're reasonable questions to ask.

As long as we get it at the 18 month point, Den, I don't have too many problems with this. The first year will be repeats of old ITV dramas anyway, so I won't miss that. I've seen all the ones worth watching.

Update from insider.

Due to Sky Sports 5 launching I ask my insider if the new Sky Sports HD has been moved to August 12th.

Got word back saying 'The Sky Sports HD WILL launch sooner than Sky Sports 5. After the world cup'.

And they also reconfirmed the launch date - same info I got weeks ago.

This is what really infuriates me about VM. They appear to be 'teasing' customers about these channels.

IF, they have agreed to have these channels, how long does it take to press a button.
