Unfortunately it isn't possible to test with every TV model, and occasionally incompatibilities arise. Can you be more specific about what the error message is, and what you have to do to make it work?

What model TV do you have?

I've just watched my recording of the F1 qualifying and everything worked normally which wasn't the case yesterday. I was getting an error message on a reddish background to disconnect the HDMI lead to continue viewing but when I pressed the 'Home' button I was taken there and everything was working again. I'll need to see if this persists.

I have a Beovision 7-40 with the Beolab speakers.

Bang & Olufsen have always been problematic with all their equipment. They seem to adopt non standard specifications.

It struck me as odd with such a high-end TV. But Bang & Olufsen must know what they're doing. The quality of sound and picture (even with my weird set up) is excellent.

I do believe that with TiVo the HD picture quality is better than with my previous SA V+ box but I think the SD pq is slightly worse.

Sorry, but personally I would question that if they're not putting standard connectivity on their equipment.

Also can you get to catch-up from a search result? Seems odd I can't.

I have tried SEARCH ALL TV and tied the letter E and it came up with EASTENDERS, Then tried the letter C and it also came up with CASUALTY. So it seems strange?

This doesn't work for some people at the moment (including me). I suspect it may be a regional issue.

I have been trying it for a while now and on some programmes it says got to CATCH UP and on others it says WATCH FROM CATCH UP. So it seems to be certain programmes that you are able to view.

And where did I say that there haven't been any problems? Go on. Quote me

But Carl as you are well aware many who pre reg don't follow through with an order for one reason or another ;)

But it does seem like they are doing; hence the problems.

Yes. There are issues with this service at the moment. In other words, it's not working as it should :)

For the record, i did pre-reg for TiVO, and i do consider myself to be a bit techy, but no i probably won't be taking Virgin up on their offer - and it aint about the benjamins either, yes i want more recording storage, but i'm not to happy with reports that people are saying SD picture quality isn't as good as Their Samsung V+, thats what it is all about with me picture and sound quality, also iplayer over the broadband connection - yuk! TiVo doesn't sound like an upgrade i will be making any time soon.

Very fair point mate , and with VM still to get certain key channels in HD you are right to treat SD quality as a big issue , however some say its better some say its worse.
