A swift wander through, of all places, Aldi suggests I'll be acquiring some goodies from there.

I do have a really, really good Beaujolais.

Just got a great deal on my food for the first couple of weeks of next month.

5kg of chicken breast
1kg of dried beef jerky-type stuff
2lb of chicken breast sausages
2lb of chicken and chilli sausages
2lb of turkey breast sausages
700g of back bacon medallions

£57 including delivery.

Nom. :)

EDIT: Also acquired my batch for the first half of the month and modified that:

5kg of chicken breast
2lb of chicken breast sausages
2lb of chicken and chilli sausages

1kg of tuna steak
1kg of pacific salmon fillet
1kg of swordfish steak
4 protein baps (22g protein, only 22g carbohydrate per bap)

Saving both from getting 2.5kg of chicken breast free via a 'loyalty' voucher code, so I only paid for 2.5kg, and saving £25.04 on a special offer on both orders.

A bagful of baking and storage goodies from Lakeland. We're doing a supper basket for hikers next season, so I'm stocking up on bits and pieces to make sure as much as possible is home made.

Bought online from Currys last night LG 42LB570 Smart 42" LED TV was £499 got it for £279, just received an email confirming delivery for Monday. That's Steve's Christmas sorted :)

Not strickly bought to-day as I paid for them several months ago but my Poppies have been delivered this afternoon and they are beautiful.

I have used a old brass shell case to display them in memory of my 5 Great uncles who died within days of each other during the Battle of the Somme in October 1916.
