Ditto, but before our parents killed us we also had to lick the white lines on the motorway clean.

No snow yet in Harlow, but a heavy frost on the cars, and it look very brass monkey outside.

light snow is forcast for 3pm today (Sunday) and again on Tuesday.

I'm going to brave the outdoors shortly, but in the meantime, here's one Mrs T took out of the dining room window about an hour ago.

Foreground is our front lawn and fence. At the centre of the picture is our road, with the neighbour's front lawn to the left of it. Although it's not possible to see where one ends and the other begins.

Well it's got so dark here that we had to draw the curtains..I couldn't read it was getting so dark.

Still lovely clear blue sky and bright sunlight here in the so called dark dank north. No doubt our time will come.

We finally had about an inch in the early hours of yesterday (just in time for my birthday !).

Last night it hit -8.0 C at home (and hasnt risen above -2.5 C all day today).

Oh I wish I could, back on enforced bed rest but if it's still sunny tomorrow I shall be more than happy to let you all see that Manchester can be the place to be. No doubt my being allowed out of the house will be the trigger that releases a blizzard over M41. So sorry in advance to my fellow Mancs. :D
