Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 1.
Oh I'd love to see that defence in a court. "Yes m'lord he made me bully him because he voiced his opinion".
An opinion does not need to be fact, although I note others have referenced articles in support of the posts. Personally I don't care who is right or wrong, fact or fiction, just stop the tone, it's unfair and uncalled for. If you feel you must belittle people due to your better education or knowledge or opinion, then maybe it's time you had a break from the topic. |

VM are probably well aware that they would lose far more customers to Sky by imposing massive price increases on their customers than they do from not carrying these overpriced channels. |

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 1.
For the record Arthur .
I have no wish to "get" Atlantic if it is ever put on at NO cost so be it or as a stand alone channel fine/ Equally I have no wish to get BT sports channels in any shape or form. Perhaps I am the only Virgin user that feels this way, but I am not looking to get ANY more channels. Be that +1 , HD or Cross eye. If they come I will look at them & then decide if it was of any interest. Some how I doubt it would be. Unless it sucked shows I like from other channels:D |

C21 Media: BT to buy ESPN’s UK and Ireland biz
UK telecoms company BT Group has confirmed that it’s to acquire ESPN’s UK and Ireland TV channels business, including ESPN and ESPN America. The deal sees BT take on ESPN’s live sports rights package in the UK and Ireland, which includes live football matches from the FA Cup, Scottish Premier League, UEFA Europa League and German Bundesliga. BT will take over the rights from July 31 this year and will continue to operate at least one ESPN-branded channel as part of its BT Sport package, which will launch in the summer. Separately, ESPN has announced that it will wind down the operation of its ESPN Classic channel throughout the EMEA region, and the ESPN America business outside the UK. http://www.c21media.net/archives/102359 |

I also have no wish to get BT Sports or Atlantic as there is very little on that channel that I might watch. The only sports I am interested in is Motorsport & the NHL There are not enough hours in the day to keep up with what I like now. |
