Cable Forum - Merged:-Comcast makes Bid for Sky

I'm pretty sure Â£9.99 is cheaper than Â£22.00. Many people don't want too pay a regular subscription every month and some probably cant afford it , this now enables them access to that one key match they want to see while allowing them to watch the rest of the live sport that day , Sky were never going to set the price too low and run the risk of losing monthly Sky Sports subscribers.

For example there is a 24 hour period coming up in a few months that would be tempting to sports fans without SKY Sports.

It opens up premium sports to a much wider audience. It's given people a choice they didn't have before.

Zeebox app now has an update in the apple app store which will enable you to send remote record requests to your Sky+HD box.
