Upload has been renewed for a second season. I have seen it mentioned a couple of times over the last week

Clarice, a Silence of the Lambs sequel is in development and due out for the 2020/2010 fall tv season

Upload has a load of potential. It is by Greg Daniels who did The Office US.

not for me. When I saw it mentioned I looked up the trailer because I hadn't heard of it. The premise is good from a scifi point of view but the fact that it is a comedy spoils it for me. When they try to brush of potential serious moments with comedy it kills my realism factor. I would rather see how the people react to and deal with these situations and circumstances for the first time rather than trying to make a joke out of them.

CBS are also doing a remake of The Equalizer.

I am not too sure about that, I can't see kicking ass like Denzel.

It will have to go some to match the original series with Edward Woodward in as that was one of the best crime series from the 80's imo.

Edward was better although Denzel was pretty good.:)

We'll be getting news of more renewals/new series over the next couple of days but not as much as usual as some networks have delayed annoncements.

Be interesting to see how that goes. The original was so unmissable. Did I read that Denzil Washington was playing the lead role?

Sadly not, they have turned the main character into a woman, played by Queen Latifah. :dozey:

Oh god no please! Women are taking over the world! Think I'll give this one a miss if it ever airs over here.

It does seem another pointless change for the sake of it, I dont think I will bother with it.

Denzel Washington did the films. I am too young to have watched the "old" series :) I agree with Paul though, instead of trying to do a proper job they are going with PC and casting a black actress (either that or lgbt) and when the series gets cancelled it will be our fault as the audience.
