Like BBC One is.

I dont think Virgin care about their Scottish Viewers.

How many Scots even speak Gaelic?
Is it on freeview in Scotland?
I would have thought that in areas where it is spoken would be outside of VM's cable network anyway. It can be viewed online via BBC1 player if anyone wants to watch it.

No idea - I only want it to watch an SPL game in full every week (Not on Catch Up).

No.

I was told months ago that BBC ALBA did have an launch date but Virgin postphone it.

But who pays the BBC £145 every year?

Blimey mate. As far as I'm aware in this country it's still Football and American Football. Don't start that 'soccer' nonsense!

You do realise that the term "soccer" originated in this country, right?

Correction I DO! I am a big basketball fan and watch NBA regularly on ESPN, ESPN America barely shows any NBA apart from a highlights show as they dont have pan-European rights.

Because you WORK for Cable Forum dont presume to SPEAK for others either! Quite clearly that is your opinion and your comment I found a little rude to be honest.

If you did a poll on the site you quite clearly see most people would prefer Boxing to Ice Hockey or Baseball. ESPN are an American company who run an American sports channel. Because people complained on this and Digital SPy forum they kept the channel. Lets be honest they kept it coz they had to... charging sub fees for 1 channel after Setanta had more rights and were offering 12-14 channels on Sky and VM meant people were getting royally ripped off!

Check the BARB viewing figures of ESPN America and UFC have already said that the 2nd most watched sport in ESPN UK is the UFC showing that combat sports are very popular on the channel. Have been occasions down to scheduling conflicts that NHL or MLB has been given priority over Boxing which I find incredible as the ratings for them are a blip.

I tend to watch ESPN America for magazine shows like Sportscentre, NBA Tonight, Sportsnation etc for another basketball fix but college basketball doesnt really interest me that much.
