All United, one obvious penalty not given and 5 or 6 other good chances.
John O Shea is not a forward, he lacks conviction when he has clear chances.

I thought he put that one away nicely, actually. Not a moment's hesitation.

Totally devoid of quaking feet. Nice to see the new tactic to stop Silvestre making abysmal defensive cockups is to push him as far away from your own goal line as possible. Put O'Shea alongside him, is my advice.

Where's top goalie Howard gone?

Arsenal have nothing to worry about.... Liverpool just weren't at the races today at all .......

Re: [Merged] - Football talk

O'Shea was a liability at both ends, Alan Smith would have converted at least one of O'Shea's first half attempts. Ronaldo man of the match, Rio excellent performance, its perhaps as well that Rooney wasn't playing it would have been all over by half time.

ooOOoooo, didn't they do well.... :D

Thought I'd help the usual suspects and suggest a few excuses as to why Liverpool lost...

*the referee was anti-Liverpool
*the weather was anti-Liverpool
*the ball was anti-Liverpool

etc etc

Not a chance, United played Liverpool off the park, they were super tonight and will be bringing THAT trophy back to OT at the end of the season

Majority of the Manu fans at work used em :o

Whats this about judging a team after one game? ;)

Come back when they've gone 43 games unbeaten like Arsenal, and No, I dont support them either ;) I know quality football when I see it though, and it wasnt' a patch on what I see at Highbury btw ;)

With comments like that, anyone would think Arse would be able to pull off a back-to-back double.....and we know there's only one team over the last 10 years who's going to be able to do that, and they play at a place called OT :D
