If they go down, I think the club will fold.
A Conference north/south club cannot sustain a £200,00 a year rent

I think the one he missed from a yard out before he actually scored is a better reflection of his talent.:(

Shame I didn't see this post until now... I could have got you 4 free tickets from my work, if you'd wanted them. I didn't bother in the end, although my sister had some and gave them to a friend (who took his Mum). They had a great time apparently.

ps - any Spurs fans around tonight?

Israel V England Saturday 24th March - KO 18.30

The Squad.....

Goalkeepers: Robinson (Tottenham), Foster (Man Utd, on loan at Watford), Carson (Liverpool, on loan at Charlton).
Defenders: Richards (Man City), Ferdinand (Man Utd), Terry (Chelsea, capt), Woodgate (Real Madrid, on loan at Middlesbrough), Carragher (Liverpool), A Cole (Chelsea), P Neville (Everton), Barry (Aston Villa).
Midfielders: Gerrard (Liverpool), Hargreaves (Bayern Munich), Lampard (Chelsea), Lennon (Tottenham), Parker (Newcastle), Carrick (Man Utd), Dyer (Newcastle), Downing (Middlesbrough). Forwards: Johnson (Everton), Rooney (Man Utd), Defoe (Tottenham), Bent (Charlton).

I was almost sure Beckham would get the nod, but evidently not, but I see that McClaren still includes his old mate Downing
Still, there might be more missing from the squad after tonights FA Cup quarter finals, but I am sure clubs like Accrington Stanley or Torquay United would only be to pleased to help McClaren out

TBH I only knew about it a few minutes before posting that. Thanks for the offer though. :tu:

Chelsea were due to host United on 14 April, but with both sides reaching the FA Cup semi-finals, it was automatically postponed.

Hopefully there is some truth in this report........

Quote:

Manchester United ace Cristiano Ronaldo has snubbed the overtures of Real Madrid by claiming he is not a Galactico. The midfielder, recently dubbed the best player in the world by his manager Sir Alex Ferguson, has also revealed he wants to sign a new deal with the Red Devils.
