ESPN Classic on Demand to end on Friday.

ESPN Classic on Virgin on Demand will end this coming Friday.

When I was looking up ESPN Classic on Demand I found that nothing is listed to be shown after Friday.

Maybe something to do with these? They do however suggest the deals are for online content.

BT have made an announcement:

Goodbye Warner TV by the looks of things. Haven't Virgin released anything about this at all?

Well to be fair Virgin Media did not say anything until some weeks after ITV on Demand was remove (Not the catch up one).

I see.

The guys over on the BT forums are suggesting Disney on demand in HD is replacing Warner TV on the BT platform from 01st June 2013.

Perhaps this will have Universal programmes in HD for those wanting the Universal HD channel?

Are there any instances where VM only carry the SD variant of a channel, but show it's HD content on VOD?

Did ITV on demand continue on other platforms?

Warner TV on demand being removed on Talk Talk too. Looks like the service is coming to an end for everyone.

For an update on the NBC Universal HD Channels you will need to ask that poster on DS Forum who started this rumour months ago.

I asked him earlier in the month and he didn't have a further update, so I guess the rumour is still that they will be added in the coming months.

This would help the music channels regain some lost viewers.

Yeah, I'm not quite sure how much sense there would be in removing certain music channels, only to add them back at the next contract renewal. There's probably too many music channels around, all chasing the same audience.

Speaking of music channels, now that the MTV section of the music genre has been tidied up, it would be nice to see a similar move to tidy up the Box TV listings on the EPG.

I must admit that the selection on Warner TV On Demand had become a bit stale as of late....

A briefing has gone to all the call centres.

"For contractual reasons, Warner Bros. have elected to remove WarnerTV from Virgin Media’s TV On Demand Service with effect from Friday 31st May. "

Same as ITV then, so Virgin Medias On Demand Library gets smaller and smaller, poor show VM.

That, plus the devaluing of the XL pack by the moving of channels from it to lower tiers, and soon to be lost ESPN is making XL looking like a less preferable choice for me anyway

Well lets see what happens before August Paul as you never know what might happen.
