I am delighted that Chelsea lost tonight, and now they have to beat Valencia to go through.

This proves that money cannot buy success, Throughout the game Chelsea kept on going on about booking players for fouls, it was getting stupid.

And Drogba, proving what a Birk he is, the guy was injured, but wanted to carry on playing, l am a believer that a players life can be ruined by injury, and yet Drogba kept on playing when he could have come off.

yeah but hes top quality. Arsenal did have a bid that would of smashed the clubs record rejected during the dying days of the summer window. the funds are there to be spent.

Wilsheres out until Feb, so we're told anyway. he seems to be recovering at a fast rate so who knows. I just hope we don't hear Wenger saying we wont sign anyone.. Wilshere will be like a new signing come January. having said that Arsenals board were grilled at the AGM, money will have to be spent in the right areas, this covering of the cracks with desperate signings and decent form doesn't cure the main problem. i know its crazy saying that considering what other clubs are enduring but its because we've got a great set up and manager whats the point wasting it. anywho Arshavins near enough gone which will raise funds. out of Hazard and Gotze I'd take Gotze although we might get both :cool: wishful thinking considering Joel Campbell who was brought in during the summer then loaned out to French side Lorient isn't doing bad.

l think Arsenal fans have to remember that Wilshire is still a very young player and l think it is important that Wenger does not rush him back or he will be at risk of another injury and then there is medium term the chance of burning a young player out as well.
