Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Anyone surprised at how well Ryan Giggs played last night and in recent games?

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Yep he has been exceptional recently, almost as if a weight has been lifted from his mind.

Messi is a genius

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Good end to a somewhat disappointing and at times disgraceful game.

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Have to agree that Messi is a special player, dire game, dreadful decision to give a red card for that challenge though, made a big difference to the outcome IMHO.:)

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Reminded me of a mid naughtys Utd Arsenal game.
Pedro is a disgrace. |
Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Madrid were lucky not to get other reds though. Adedayor's yellow and the stamp on Pedro by one of their defenders.

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Madrid were negative and cynical. Good result for football. :tu:

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
If you had a bet on over 2.5 red cards would it have paid out?
Have to watch Messi's goal a couple of times, such skill. |
Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Teams locked in the dressing rooms to calm down before interviews. It would be funny if it weren't so sad...

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Makes me luagh that Sir Alex is complaining that Tv broadcastors have so much power in football, that they don't have a winter break.
Dont clubs have breaks for internationals and there players are treated with upmost care and shouldn't need a break for winter, as most clubs these days have brilliant playing services. If he goes back many years, clubs played in some terrible conditions and didn't whinge once. Scottish can complain as there winters normally last longer than ours and suffer more than us. Just think Sir Alex, l would have to work 18 months to get the wages that ONE player earns a WEEK. |

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
That linesman in the Chelsea v Spurs game and the referee need bloodty glasses, the Cheslea goal WAS NOT OVER THE LINE.
The rules in football states ' the ball must be CLEARLY over the line' ---------- Post added at 19:32 ---------- Previous post was at 18:21 ---------- The Kalou goal was offside. When he got the ball, he was in an offisde position when he scored. This is typical of Chelsea, they win games on 'official cock ups' We have to have extra officals at these games, sadly this happens at big games ie Man Utd, Chelsea where officials are 'pressured' by the players top give decisions. |
