Yup, doing the same myself. Blue Sky, bright sunshine, laughter of kids playing... washing line full of clothes that got soaked in the frequent heavy showers when we were cycling earlier on..;)

I was thinking about cutting the grass but I've had a beer now and one really shouldn't handle machinery in soggy conditions when under the influence.:D

Right can someone just clarify this for me, I have a XL TV package with the HD Box and I have the Sky Sports package, is the rumour that for me to get sky sports hd I need to pay a extra £7.00 ?? or the fact Im on XL and subscribe to sports already it will be free, whats the rumour ??

What isn't rumour is that the wholesale price for Sky HD Premium content (as defined by OFCOM) is £5.89 + VAT.

To be honest if it comes out its £7.00 more im off, as sky has offered me cheaper what im paying at the minute including HD, no way im paying anymore money.

Yes but with Sky you have call out fees - £10 HD fees - higher box fees especially on multiroom. If your box need assistance you will have to pay up to £50 for an Sky engineerer to come and fix it. Plus when there is bad weather like rain the picture breaks up, I know this because 3 of my friends are on sky and all 3 said the same. They all wish they lived on cable streets to get virgin.

These are the resons I am with Virgin Media today and not Sky.

You're right, it's not a rumour, it's just plain incorrect.

Ofcom didn't set a price for HD, they agreed with Sky that it was a developing market and that setting a set price on it could prevent future innovation. Instead they ruled it must be offered on "fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory basis" Section 1.7 in the statement deals with it.

In the third review they proposed that price, but then decided not to implement any fixed pricing.

OK Forget about the Sports and Movies for a bit. I would like to know if/when we are going to get these existing HD channels;

These channels, along with the current crop of HD channels that Virgin supply, would give us the majority of the (Non-Premium)HD channels that Sky have.

ps I know the 3 Sky channels i mentioned are coming. Its just, when?
