Next they'll be telling us it's our own fault...
Not when there's a perfectly good Mickael Silvestre to be at fault for things. Told you he was rubbish. It's not anti-Man U to point that out, it's an obvious fact.

Chelski 0 - **** 0 - suddenly yesterday's point looks quite good. Mind you, 4-1 away at Everton looks an excellent result, since they're now up to third. Wonder what the spud-faced granny shagger makes of that. Tomorrow's game at Old Trafford will decide who's the North-West's third best team.

Arsenal all about attack? Supported by the stats - the only real opposition in the league is Chelsea. Both have played three games home and away. Arsenal have scored 7 more goals at home and 8 more away from home. They've conceded 4 more goals at home and 2 more away from home. Chelsea have yet to concede a single goal away, and have only let one in at home. This with two new defenders and a new goalkeeper. Boring but formidable.

Such amusing bitterness....bet the barren years (ie most of the 90s) built up all that nastiness and resentment...:D

Re: [Merged] - Football talk

Bitterness cunningly disguised as a big, self-satisfied grin actually. At last we can get back to ignoring the North and having some proper London rivalry.

Barren 90s? 2 League titles, 2 FA Cups, 1 League Cup, 1 Cup Winners Cup. A lot of teams (Tottenham, Everton, Newcastle and Liverpool, to name four) would swap what they achieved in the 90s for that haul.

Now the early to mid 80s, you might have a point.

I notice you didn't disagree with me about Silvestre. Nice to have you onside on that.

Yep, compare that to the team you despise so much.

Yes but they don't seem to have the same type of, er...'fans' that Arse do.

I thought it was best not to dignify such unadulterated and uneducated tripe with a response :)

One FA Cup and one League Cup. We win again.

I have absolutely no idea what this means. Everton have working-class Scouse fans (apart from the one from south-east London I know), Newcastle have incomprehensible, aggressive Geordie fans, Spurs have knuckle dragging cavemen and Chas and Dave. Arsenal have the odd luvvy and large numbers of shaven headed blokes with tattoos, plus Jews, Greeks and Turks and Irish. In other words, a typical cross-section of North Londoners.

Did I mention that Tim Howard is rubbish this season as well?

Yes...that makes sense...the usual 'Arsenal logic' being applied again...:spin:

Being an Arsenal fan I wouldn't expect you to :p:

Ahh now you're right there. But Arse players never have a bad couple of games do they?

(hint: 'Arsenal logic' now dictates that you reply telling me that Arse players have never had a bad game in their lives :D)

Man Utd V Liverpool tonight.

Not sure I can agree with Marshes views, so I will say 1 - 1.

2-1 to Liverpool.

No no, I can't see that happening. It's at Old Trafford, Ferdy's back and the Roonster might put in an appearance.

But then again stranger things have happened....

And neither Rooney (who has yet to play for his new club) and Rio (who we all know why) has played for Manyoo for a long time (or ever) so won't be match fit.

Liverpool have seemingly been galvanised by Benitez and look a decent side, ManYoo on the other hand have been all over the place all season and part of last.

I'll go as far as saying, on current forms ManYoo will struggle to get in the Champs League for next season.

I still say United will pull through. 'Pool with be without their dynamo (Murphy) so I see a weakness there.
