Now would they do that to us again? ;)

Us?..Not sure it is a concerted effort to deprive you of the shows. Unless of course you are a Virgin shareholder. Oops, secret out :D

Well BT Sport live Premiership coverage starts cringeworthly. Music!!! How tacky and cheesy can you get! I truly hope it improves!

In order to keep people subscribing to SKY Sports on VM, I wouldn't be surprised to see SKY drop the premium HD charge in the coming months as otherwise people are just going to drop it and SKY need the subscribers and advertising revenue to fight back against BT Sports.

Maybe the price increase is to pay for including the HD variants? Or maybe that's wishful thinking on my part :)

I'm sure that the LG CEO said that those issues had been fixed (but I guess he would say that :erm:).

I can see why that could happen, but I think the last thing Digital Cable in the UK needs right now (or anytime soon) is another rebrand.

NTL >>> NTL-Telewest >>>> VM >>>> UPC?

I'd rather they spend the 'rebranding' cash on improving services - more channels, more content (yeah, I'm a greedy bugger!), maybe even getting more channels working with MRS and perhaps even getting the Android version of TVA out.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some dishes to wash, then, FREE HD EPL FOOTY to watch, MUHAHAHAHA! :D

Cheers Chad. That is a great comparison. The only things Sky have now are HD and Atlantic, which to be fair, are what many people want currently.

I'd say more people would prefer not to be paying the £12/£15 for BT Sport.

Yes. I wouldn't like to pay that, and would likely not bother.

But is it going up that much or even at all?

BenMcr over on VM's own forums say that nothing has been announced on any price rises in October.

Sky have to be very careful in these coming months with price rises because the goose that has laid that golden egg for many many years might start laying ones which are the equivalent to fools gold.

Free as in I'm not paying extra for it? Of course.

Everyone plays that card. Sky offer free broadband but you have to pay for a basic TV package to get it.
