Saw this scene at the weekend in a very wet Lake District at Tarn Hows. Caution: life is dangerous!

At my company (BAE Systems), we have an initiative whereupon the staff can bring their offspring to work for a day. It is intended to spur youngsters into thinking about what opportunities exist (within industry) in the outside world.

The initiative is called "bring your kid to work day" Unfortunately (on occaision) the little beggers tend to run off, sometimes ending up in the most unexpected places:

Was in Asda earlier and had a look at the 'new' transformers toys. They look soo bad and cheap. I remember mine being quality bits of kit with metal parts and they had a 'weight' to them.

Kids of today are getting a bum deal :-(

Ah, those would be the cheapo ones. I've seen some more expensive ones [most expensive is the movie version of Bumblebee at about £70 or £80 IIRC], but don't know what the actual build quality is like, but they certainly look better than the £20-ish ones.

Yeah, but still better than what they get today lol. And that's when Tonka toys were made of metal! Oh dear... It's turned into a trip down amnesia lane!!
