Re: [Merged] Speed Increases 1st June - 2meg to 4meg
Still waiting to see if someone can explain the High first 512K reading that I keep getting. Happens every test and artificially inflates the overall speed, or does it? Am I actually getting 6.36 Mbps? If so, what can I do to make the other three tests work as fast so that I can boast of having 10MB AND 4MB at once?
Tue, 27 Jun 2006 18:15:30 UTC 1st 512K took 297 ms = 1723.9 KB/sec, approx 14205 Kbps, 13.87 Mbps 2nd 512K took 1077 ms = 475.4 KB/sec, approx 3917 Kbps, 3.83 Mbps 3rd 512K took 1062 ms = 482.1 KB/sec, approx 3973 Kbps, 3.88 Mbps 4th 512K took 1063 ms = 481.7 KB/sec, approx 3969 Kbps, 3.88 Mbps Overall Average Speed = approx 6516 Kbps, 6.36 Mbps |
