Which is why this whole thread has become pointless. We all know something but we cant say anything until it happens. I used to enjoy reading the posts here but i hate to say its becoming a real repetitive bore.

I can offer something it is only a rumour though and i'm unsure it will happen hence why i never posted it before.
A new source has told me that BT sports is due a free weekend within the next 2 months on all platforms.

Then why don't you befriend someone with access to the right equipment? There must be many people on the various forums you could ask. You could then risk upsetting your sources by posting sensitive info.

MB still does a lot to keep us informed as and when he can. Currently he is just keeping his word and protecting his sources. Nothing wrong with that in the slightest!

Aha! so, basically, you are saying that your TV is an Freeview insider... hope it doesn't start issuing DNP orders. :shocked:

There seems to be an awful lot of DNP orders relating to events that never actually quite materialise. All very cloak and dagger, or a complete waste of time, depending on your perspective.

One would presume that the freeview also applies to XL as LFC is a subscription channel. 15th April is also the Hillsborough anniversary.

As far as I know everyone can view LFC TV on that date.

Well I befriended someone on another forum who said he has equipment to check, they did the scan said it showed 9 channels beginning V0, 2 where blank and 7 seemed to be showing CH5+1 in HD (regional variations probably)... Is he lying? Why would he?

Channel 5 +1 in HD - that news to me seen nothing online about Viacom set to launch an other Channel 5 channel in HD.

I know they are regional variations of Channel 5, Channel 5 HD and Channel 5 +1.

Channel 5 HD is not even broadcasting on Freeview.

The would explain the BT Showcase channel appearing on Freeview then.
