As well as the hidden test channels on 621-632, I'm now also getting the tests on channels 881-891 with on demand previews.

Looking very promising. Hopefully a load of SD channels as well as the HD stuff.

For those without HD expect half a dozen SD channels to arrive within the next 6-8 weeks

ESPN may launch a 2nd channel in August due to the amount of sport they have secured for the next few years.

It seems sky movies classic hd launches on mon 9th august wonder if it will come to virgin.

Well regarding the £7 charge as now seems to be true i shall take it anyway as we have the sports and movies and it is worth it for both,but if we do remove the movies somewhere down the line then the hd sub would be took off as i cant justify £7 just for two sports channels if it was for the four off them then maybe another matter.

i dont think its a bad deal really, you just gotta ask yourself would you pay
23p, whole Pence!! to watch the big match, the latest movie or whatever in premium HD? Of course you would.

And thats the cost PER DAY.

So if you watch a movie, watch a match, and then another movie, you're only paying 7p to watch it crystal clear. :cool:

It should do, the deal Virgin Media got was for the Sky Movies HD bouquet of channels.

This thread has become a right mooch to get around cause of this bloody pre official announcement pricing. Please can we keep it to the SkyHD thread. I don't subscribe to either sports or movies so it is especially annoying for me!

I agree, I subscribe to this thread so I can keep up to date with anything new happening.

It is getting very annoying getting an email every 5 minutes because somebody else wants to moan about the charge which nobody even knows is actually going to happen!
