BBC news channel also shows local news but as its the London version its of little or no use to the majority of the country

I'm basing this on you having basic phone and 50mb broadband with tv m+ would be £45.99 + £27 for skysports collection = £72.99 this isn't including any offers you have and does not include any price rises.
If i'm wrong hopefully someone like Ben can correct me :)

Just a heads up for you guys....

I don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but if you have the Sky Sports channels in HD on Virgin then you can watch Sky Sports News in HD on Sky Sports 5 HD on Channel 516 from 6am - 9am daily. But today it's on until midnight! Probably for Deadline Day.

So at least you can get a taster of what Sky Sports News HD will look like when it's finally launched. :D
