Well - after a modem reboot in Manchester (M38) this morning, my speed test results were around 3.8Mbps.

Did a "test" download from NTL newsgroups and did 750MB in around 25 minutes so looks like its quite a stable connection unlike some people have reported. Maybe at the end of the month after all the work is compete - everybody will have a rock solid (as can be) connection.

I'd just like to point out that all throughout this thread I haven't once moaned and complained about NTL not giving me this FREE upgrade earlier in the month, I've just sat back, relaxed and laughed at all the whinging about it. ;) It was worth the wait! :cool:
