Media Boy spoke to CS today with regard to swapping V box for another V+ was told £150. When I asked after the V HD box he went away for a few minutes and came back and told me if I ring back after the 25th April around then it will be available and would cost £75. Have you any info on this?

I really hope they make a BBC1HD and BBCHD/BBC2HD. This way bbc shows could be in HD aired at the same time as BBC1 and also they could upscale non-hd content. I'd very much like to have BBC 6 o'clock news in HD.

The BBC would be attacked for "wasting money"... they can't win! :D

Would I be right in thinking History +1 is going so that Military History can launch and Animal Planet +1 is going so that Quest can launch. In other words the total number of channels from A&E and Discovery remain the same?

VM are on a roll, at this rate I can see us having Sky movies and sports in HD within 12 months.

Great news.

Great news.

Movies and sports is likely to be down to Ofwat so could be sooner.

Yep would be awesome if it would be sooner.

Sky premium channels will come but VM viewers will just have to pay for them!!!

Sky will get to a point where the idea of additional revenue outweighs new uptake revenue.

I would be more than happy to pay an extra £10 a month for Sky sports and Movies

As I'm already paying £100/mo - no chance me paying it. (never happen though)

Why not?

I think VM will get them eventually. Like they got Sky 1 back and how they got Sky Movies and sports in the first place.

They should get rid of most of the +1 depending on the viewers ratings

They really should get rid of the porn channels to be honest, leave the pervs buy them online or via vod if there on there that way more channels can come into play.

Also get rid of gems tv

If im correct these channels actually pay virgin for carriage, these are important cash streams, they will never be gone in the current business model.
