Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
There's no free periods any more but at £9.99 per month it's very good value. You won't have Raw or Smackdown but the documentaries etc as well as every WWE, WCW and ECW PPV is worth it.

Exactly, be interesting to know the percentage of people subscribing in February compared to how many subbed from the middle of March to cover WM. I'm considering getting rid after WM, as the RAW and SD shows I want to watch from 2002 to 2006 are taking forever to be added on.

Best Mania in a LONG time. Best PPV in a LONG time.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
Yes, by all accounts better than predicted. Watched a couple of matches already, but for some reason the Network keeps freezing.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
Agreed, but the HHH match has me annoyed to hell. Some things just never change.

If someone hit you with with a hammer would you really want to shake hands and hug after? Kayfabe's dead.
Awesome RKO from Orton and the main event was excellent, looked like legit heat between Lesnat and Reigns. Brilliant swerve at the end by making it a triple threat. |
Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
If anything, I think WM was a thousand times better than RAW last night, although (without trying to give much away here) there was one segment that was freaking awesome.

Wrestlemania for me has always been about long epic matches with clean wins, those are the rare matches I enjoy. |
Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
What I did was looked at the results before watching, so skipped the Sting match as I knew I was going to be swearing at the screen and skipped the Battle Royal as I was never that interested in it anyway.
And Rollins getting that reaction was a contrast to what other Forums said would happen. Looking forward to seeing who will be fighting at Extreme Rules for the title. Thinking elsewhere is that Cena and D Bry will doing a unification match at Extreme Rules. Why not go the whole way and have Cena and Nikki fight Brie and Daniel and put all 3 titles on the line in the match in a winner takes all match. |

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
I don't have a problem with WWE putting those titles on them - the IC strap desperately needed someone to take it seriously. The IC champ at one point was always regarded as the number 2 guy in the company.
As for the U.S. title...I believe this is the beginning of the slowing of Cena being 'that guy'. He might well win the Heavyweight title again at some point but I get the feeling they're now making long term plans for life after Cena. |
Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
Which they need to do. Let's be honest, once Cena and Orton leave, who realistically can replace them? The trouble with Vince is he says he will push people but then panics when they don't get as over as he hoped, yet the guys he doesn't think can make it but get over with the crowd he buries.
Sorry to say, but I think WWE will be a lot better off with Steph and Triple H running things. NXT is doing brilliant, which is the brainchild of Triple H. Paige started there, doing well on the main roster. Looking forward to seeing the Diva Search come back this year, had some good Divas come through over the years. Michelle McTaker, Layla, Maria to name a few. |
