I hate the term 'winning a penalty/free kick'. Never mind Iceland have done better and 'won' a goal....

Typical rank English poor defending.

Re: Euro 2016 thread

That defence though. Still shocking. Unless we're 2 ahead I'll never feel secure. They're always looking for Sterling or Sturridge, Kane just doesn't draw level with his man or make the run. There's no hoofed balls to mark him down as a target man either. Kane needs to get into Premier League mode asap.

Already lining up to be another game of England vs The great wall of China. Chelsea won the champions league this way and were panned.

Surely Hodgson can employ a defensive coach like other countries do on the art of defending your 18 yard box.

England's number one goalie?

Joe Hart you are a embarrassment to the art of decent goalkeeping.:td::td::(:(

Re: Euro 2016 thread

Broken record now, shambles at the back. Follow that up with one of the worst goalkeeper performances over a major tournament. What was wrong with starting the team that finished against Wales?

A fairly decent attacking team let down by a fail of a keeper and a defence hardly worth mentioning.

If Joe Hart starts the next game should we progress, I'll be horrified.

l hope Hodgson takes time at half time to pen his resignation to the nincompoops of the FA who appointed yet another failure who is even worse then the wally with the brolly.

Does Hart have Scottish blood?

Nice to hear the locals getting behind England. We seem to be particularly unpopular at the moment.

l have a better fist of tactical and defensive nous when l play Football manager as the manager and the players could not organise a **** up in a brewery.

Put your application in to the FA Den, you're eminently qualified ;)

Re: Euro 2016 thread

This ref is hardly giving us much to cheer about. The amount of wrestling and shirt pulling by Iceland is incredible.

England's best performance came against Wales in the second half. The fact that this lineup hasn't been seen since sets of alarm bells for Woy.

Probably the most open Euros since Greece won and England are set to **** it away.

Re: Euro 2016 thread

Sorry but we cannot blame the referee for this abysmal performance.

Good grief Rooney marking a man who is 6 inches taller and Kane taking free kicks when he should be in the box and that's just two of twenty things l could mention.

Oh dear he is bringing on Wilshere who has hardly played all season.:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Joe Hart has not been subbed? What does he have to do, **** Mrs Hodgson?
