The only fly in the ointment is the appalling service of Yodel who deliver the hubs... will get it eventually!

Do you have to pay to have the hub delivered?

I'm not sure whether it was this forum or another but I seem to remember someone saying that they were going to be charged £20 to have the hub delivered! :(

I was charged £20 to deliver the Super Hub 2 as well, but they haven't asked me to return the Super Hub 1 (yet...)

Thanks for the information here.

I've just swapped to the Big Bang from my existing collection and got a really good deal, including keeping loyalty discount. I'm getting 90.5 download, so really pleased.

Can I check on one point though. Re the £5 pm mobile sim card is my understanding of unlimited calls as being unlimited landline and mobile calls to 01,02 and 03 correct.

I'm only asking because I phoned Orange to cancel my existing Orange monthly contract and the reps I spoke to were amazed at the Virgin price. I began to wonder if I had misunderstood the Virgin deal.

Another question same as previous poster, do I return my old Superhub 1?

The SuperHub 1s don't need to be returned anymore.

I upgraded to the Big Daddy bundle yesterday and took the £8 sim and have just received an e-mail from Virgin Mobile, part of which reads:

"You can use the airtime in your bundle to make calls, send messages and use mobile internet (if its included in your tariff) from within the UK to any UK mobile network and landline (that's numbers beginning 01, 02 and 03), except calls to call forwarding services."

Seems to be a general terms and conditions letter, but I assume like you that it is unlimited calls. At the moment I cannot find any more info on the sim deal.

I'll bet that it scared the life out of some of the kids who saw it. :)

Re: Virgin Media launch 'first true quad-play' bundles

i shall stick with what i have
BB 100mb
Tv XL
Tel XL
i tivo 1gb
i tivo 500mb

£81.74 inc line rental - i get a 'discount' currently on the 2nd box.

there are things i dont like about the new big bundles.

not including a 2nd box in the price in the higher tier bundles like they did in Premiere and VIP collections.

And basically saying if you want TV XL you have to have 152mb (ie Big Kahuna)- i dont really want to pay for 152mb as 100mb is more than enough for me i find.
