I'm knackered Lewis from 21st and started in pits to 3rd, 1 place ahead of Nico.

In my humble opinion he is the best driver in F1.

Would he do that in a Marussia though? Or Caterham? Mercedes taking over from Red Bull with cheating on the car. IMO.

What irritated me today is Mercedes told Lewis Hamilton to let Nico Rosberg past him but thankfully Lewis told them where to go.

That was crazy - Nico was nowhere near close enough, not even in drs for a lot of it.

I don't know if he's the best, Lewis, but I reckon he's easily the fastest.

Great race today, first wet race of the year did not disappoint. Can't wait for Spa now.

How are Merc cheating, do you think?

To me if you have two strong drivers in a team you let them race and you do not try to impose a order onto one of them which is exactly what they tried to do.

Hopefully that black cat will have disappeared by Spa for Hamilton.

I think what it showed was an inflexibility in the Merc garage. They'd clearly set their strategy based on it being very unlikely that Lewis would do much and that Nico was set for the win. Unfortunately they didn't manage to roll with the changes brought about by the safety car and the excellent recovery drive from Hamilton. I've no doubt it was motivated by a desire to accumulate the maximum possible team points from the race, but it was badly handled, poorly communicated to both drivers and ultimately the wrong call - Rosberg lost the win when he failed to get past the Toro Rosso, not because of Hamilton.

Set up nicely for Spa - I'm sure some things will have been ironed out internally by the time we get there.

Just revisiting this thread. Looks like I was wrong about Spa!

After reading some of the things Hamilton has said the last week or so, I am now breaking my Anyone But Germany and want Rosberg to finish Hamilton's title chances once and for all this weekend. Hamilton started with so much promise but as the seasons pass he has become more and more arrogant and now he just comes across as a petulant spoilt little brat.

He needs to look in the mirror and ask why it is he never gets along with his team mates for long.

I couldn't disagree more, you seem to have it in for him, i mean if it was you racing his car and Rosberg rammed you then you would have a right to moan.
