You can be too pedantic about which thread to add your comments to, and as long as it has relevance to the thrust of the general discussions that are around the subject, comments such as these are not helpful.

When I brought the subject up in this thread, it was because there was a possibility of Current TV returning to VM- loosely related to "Coming Soon to Virgin TV" and I wanted to let people know this.
As soon as it became clear that Current TV would not be returning and, in fact, would be closing altogether, I believed that the subject would be better discussed in the Al Jazeera thread, rather than hijacking this one.
As long as members are happy for the thread to be taken in this direction, that's fine by me.

Yes, you're right!! As things developed, it transpires that this is exactly what this has amounted to. I don't see much point in discussing it any further either, especially in a thread designed for something completely different ;) |
