How to not answer a question......

Or is it because you have asked your sources if you can tell anyone if you have (or have not) watched Al Jazeera, and they have refused you permission? ;)

It is true to say that I mentioned the subject earlier, but I now feel that the discussion is taking this thread too off topic, so, out of respect for Media Boy, I believe the other thread to be more appropriate, particularly as, in all probability, Current TV won't, in fact, be returning.

Richard, the reason I said that I did not believe you had watched this channel was the comment you made about bias. Had you watched the channel yourself, I don't believe that you would have said that.

Again, this is not off topic. This is a new channel and we are judging the quality of the channels that have just arrived and are coming soon.

You can be too pedantic about which thread to add your comments to, and as long as it has relevance to the thrust of the general discussions that are around the subject, comments such as these are not helpful.

Nor are uninformed comments, I have to say. Anyway, 'nuff said.

My point was that there is nothing to discuss, here or elsewhere. All you have come up with is that you have been told something by an unknown source and cannot disclose what it is. You haven't actually come up with anything that can be discussed.

Don't be facetious, I receive my news sources from a wide variety of places.

When I brought the subject up in this thread, it was because there was a possibility of Current TV returning to VM- loosely related to "Coming Soon to Virgin TV" and I wanted to let people know this.

As soon as it became clear that Current TV would not be returning and, in fact, would be closing altogether, I believed that the subject would be better discussed in the Al Jazeera thread, rather than hijacking this one.

As long as members are happy for the thread to be taken in this direction, that's fine by me.

Yes, you're right!! As things developed, it transpires that this is exactly what this has amounted to. I don't see much point in discussing it any further either, especially in a thread designed for something completely different ;)

Local TV Broadcaster 'Seven' has told Ofcom they will be rebranded as Lincolnshire Living from January 2013.
Have anyone from the Grimsby & Scunthorpe area got any new info on the rebrand date or has it been rebrand yesterday or today?

'Seven' is broadcasting on Virgin Channel 879 (Grimsby & Scunthorpe only).

Thanks for any update.

Noticed adverts yesterday saying that FX is rebranding to FOX and a load of new shows are coming on. Be interesting to see what they produce.

Notice is that there is a subtle change to Skys advertising reagarding Atlantic. It used to say "exclusive to Sky Customers" It now says "watch the channel only Sky customers can"

May mean nothing but could mean some deals have been done with BT for example who then create a Sky package?
