As it's quiet I don't think others will mind..

You're quite right looking at the official citroen pages they're running 4 cars (two teams ) this year. It's the bbc news fault as they specified he'd be in the junior team which I took as the class

The deal will be extended in 2010 to include the two Citroën Junior Team cars that will compete in Red Bull’s colours on 12 of the 2010 FIA World Rally Championship’s 13 rounds, the exception being the Rally of New Zealand. These two Citroën C4 WRCs will be campaigned by Kimi Räikkönen/Kaj Lindström and Sébastien Ogier/Julien Ingrassia.

THough the last paragraph does make it seem as though it's a junior class team??? Now I am confused

Could it mean that there are two teams, a Junior and a "Senior" and that Räikkönen is driving in one of them?

Why 17 years .

I could understand 15 or 20, but 17 seems an unusual number.

it's the same length they offered to Donington. I think after 7 there is a get out from both sides anyway

It's a real shame, I would have liked to see Donnington get it.

Jarno possibly to Lotus?

Quote:

Lotus Formula 1 team principal Tony Fernandes plans to name his drivers for the 2010 season next week with Jarno Trulli top of his four-man shortlist.

Fernandes confirmed that Italian Trulli and Malaysia's Fairuz Fauzy were on the list but that Canada's former world champion Jacques Villeneuve was not.

Jacques has been linked with Manor for ages. I'd not be surprised to see Trulli go to Lotus, it should be alright for him to lead a team that aren't gonna overpay him.

Now why didn't teams think of this before?! Pick a venue and we're away!

Mike Gascoyne (Lotus Tech Director) has worked with Jarno before at Jordan, Renault and Toyota. A safe pair of hands to develop a new car is just what a new team will need.

glad the team is still there just wonder who the owner is going to be. Hope Richards gets the deal done but the BBC say it isn't certain if Kubica will still be the driver, although I can't see any other better drivers on the market

I'm just worried that if we get the same as this year with one driver dominating for the start of the season it'll mean the others will give in even earlier and concentrate on the 2011 cars

It's going to be fun listening to the commentators as they try to work out the standings during the race :)

If this points system was in place last year then Jenson would have won the championship much sooner.

I think a 5point gap is too much
