I'm a dummy at remembering all that. I keep things minimal. Google has controls to not sync contacts on the device etc. There's contact control, backup controls, I'll soon know if I require more controls. Having the main Google account on the device isn't so bad tbh. Google play system updates enable with an account present :woot:

They don't have access to anything other than the supplied licence key  their reputation as a seller is telling of their legit business.

Your responses aren't very insightful. I don't understand

I have the Defender crap that comes embedded in Windows.

I also have the free versions of Malwarebytes and Superantispyware.
They just sit there inactive until I give them a quick run every 6 months or so.

How do these resellers get the licences to begin with? I paid about £25 for 5 devices 1 year. How much are they sourcing them for :erm:

On the face of it they are selling what appear to be legit but chances are they are corporate keys and there will be a limit to its activations. They invest as a business with x number of clients take the keys and pass them on. Many moons ago I had access to a friends MSDN and had access to keys for most MS software

I did just buy Backupper this week as got a lifetime deal of aomei

I'm still running Bitdefender total security and still happy with it after 3 years.
