He's likely frustrated that Newcastle can't yet afford to bankroll a silly money signing when they needed re-reinforcements all over the pitch. It became harder when the value of average joe inflated to double it's original price, So in such a case, a budget of £100m would have been a fortune 5 years ago, it just isn't this season for Newcastle and we'll have to wait at least a year before he gets the spending power he wants. Basically they're struggling to make their budget stretch now.
If Rafa walked, Ashley may face his toughest test as Newcastle owner, scenes bigger than those when Keegan walked. -- Back to what I said earlier it's worth noting if Lukaku and Kane both keep it up and stay in the Premier League, they'll both comfortably break Shearer's record. |
