Manchester City starting XI: Hart, Richards, Kompany, Garcia, Kolarov, Barry, Fernandinho, Razak, Suarez, Nasri, Dzeko |

Indonesian All Stars 0-7 Arsenal. Wenger in. We don't need to sign anyone.
On a more serious note there are some exciting players coming through but please God let it not be another cycle of waiting for them while seniors get fed up and leave! |

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
I could see this happening. The lure of RVP is certainly going to help and I think Moyes feels a need to make a flagship signing as a statement of intent. United have a massive hole in midfield and Fabregas would make the position his own. Trophies haven't been fast and flowing for him at Barca so maybe with the right offer he would be tempted.
|
Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
He is defo what we need to fill the hole of Paul Scholes

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
How much did barca pay arsenal for fabregas?
|
Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
Sky sports say that in his contract there is a clause that Arsenal have first refusal on him if he leaves Barca. The clause is for Arsenal to pay £25m and so the full Man Utd bid will be £35
|
Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
Arsenal have first option and a sell on clause apparently. Presumably token clauses for a player they never thought they would sell again. Hopefully Arsenal utilise them.

He'll either stay at Barca or come back to Arsenal. Theres a massive release clause in his contract for anyone other than Arsenal whom as mentioned have a much much much smaller figure to meet.
---------- Post added at 13:39 ---------- Previous post was at 13:34 ---------- Its all kicking off aint it lol Arsenal have soo many options its crazy to think we'll still screw up.. or is it?! SSN: Fab news, Suarez, Higuain. Arsenal right now could sign Fellaini (23m), Fabregas (25m) and Higuain (25m) for 73 odd million. thats an absolute bargain. |

We'll only get two of the four I think. If we got Fabregas I don't see us going for Fellaini even if they play different positions. More likely it would free up Arteta and Wilshere to play as defensive midfielders.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
The Cisse situation is awful now, He's asked for a better contract at the same time as refusing to wear the shirt, you can bet your life he's using the latter to his advantage. Basically Cisse is refusing to play in the new shirt but may re-consider should he get paid more. Brilliant.
Interest from Anzhi in Russia, they'd happily pay an inflated £20+ million free, see you later Cisse. Loic Remy and Bent will likely come in for about £13 million total. I'm not going to complain if this comes to light. We also need to remember we have very good academy players coming through, Haris Vuckic was not so long ago touted as the next breakthrough striker and he looked like making the first team last year had he not got injured for the season. The lad has a vicious left foot from what I and the opponents crossbars usually see, work on his accuracy and you might have something, unfortunately there's rumours we're merely holding onto him for a big Italian side. Adam Campbell looks promising too. |
