For fear of crossing over into an adjacent thread, I don't think that is an issue here, and as far as I was aware the objection was having such material in US schools, not general libraries.

White House: China now faces up to a 245% (!) tariff on imports to the United States as a result of its retaliatory actions.

Trump: "CHINA WILL PAY 1 BILLION PERCENT IN TARIFFS UNLESS IT SHOWS THAT I'M WINNING''

The guy's a moron.

Trump and truth are strange bed fellows so don't expect a change anytime soon.

‘Diplomats in Washington also report that some Trump aides say privately that they are “fed up” with Europe’s effort to strengthen Ukraine. As always with such a chaotic administration, it is hard to distinguish the true signal from the noise.’

I wonder why they don't want Ukraine to be strengthened?

the Court ultimately determines that the Government’s actions on that day demonstrate a willful disregard for its Order, sufficient for the Court to conclude that probable cause exists to find the Government in criminal contempt. The Court does not reach such conclusion lightly or hastily; indeed, it has given Defendants ample opportunity to rectify or explain their actions.
None of their responses has been satisfactory.

Pentagon unit dubbed 'SWAT team of nerds' quits en masse after heated clash with DOGE

A group described as the Pentagon's 'SWAT team of nerds' is quitting the Department of Defense after being pressed by Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency.

The Defense Digital Service was founded in 2015 to bring 'Silicon Valley-style innovation' to the Pentagon.

Director Jennifer Hay said that her team was ready and waiting to be a part of DOGE, helping bring further efficiency to DOD by adopting automation and AI.

'The reason we stuck it out as long as we have is that we thought we were going to be called in,' Hay told Politico.

However, they were instead not used at all and a former Pentagon senior official said that Musk's DOGE working with the Defense Department has been destructive.

'They're not really using AI, they're not really driving efficiency. What they're doing is smashing everything,' the anonymous official said.

DOGE reportedly pressured DDS members to make a decision on their futures and now the entire staff is set to quit over the next month.

Every employee claimed that they would have stuck it out had it not been for DOGE's intrusion.

rump abandons $50 billion deal, saying he has no intention of supplying weapons to Ukraine, even for money — BILD

Although Ukraine desperately needs Patriot air defense systems and associated missiles, the Trump team shows no interest in a potential sale of these systems.

What does Trump want to achieve with this?
More Ukrainian deaths, a Russian victory? Obviously.

And obviously, Trump is putin's whore.

I love these type of quotes, from highly educated experts in Geo-politics that can give highly assessed detailed forensic reports about the situations we face.

I sleep at night better.

The other thing is that Russia still ignores the ceasefire deals that Ukraine agreed to. Trump still doesn't care.

All the Russian apologists have just gone quiet, it was meant to be Ukraine and the west that were the barriers to a deal wasn't it? Pathetic people.
