No. I think differently from you. I think that is what is needed. Maybe a winger but a DM and Striker should be priority followed by defender and winger.

The one biggest improvement Wenger needs to make is to find a decent goalkeeper. The next Seaman. Don't know what other Arsenal fans think, but for me Arsenal have been struggling goalie wise since Lehman left.

Wenger will though say keep the faith and Szczesny will continue to make mistakes because he has no competition. their resting on their laurels.

If I'd been Wenger, I would have gone for Reina or Schwarzer. Both good goalies, both would be 100000% better than the current goalies at Arsenal. Personally, I'd love to see them snap up Cech with a cheeky bid on deadline day. :)

I know, optimistic to the extreme but optimism seems to be all Arsenal fans have left at the moment.

Hard to think of names with so many having gone but: Michu up front. Begovic in goal. No idea about defensive midfielders. Ashley Williams might be a good call at center back but doubt we'll be able to raid Swansea for two of their players. At this stage of the season one would be difficult.

No Rooney? Would Stoke sell Begovic? Pulis was on BT Sports on Saturday and he said that Stoke had approaches for Begovic but the club refused to sell, no talks.
