You weren't the only one :erm:

Still Rangers will be in Europe after Christmas one way or another. Better than the mob from Snake Mountain :D

Now all we need are a new manager and some players who can actually score goals and appear to want to play for us instead of just picking up a wage.

Oh and to shoot Jeffers and Bernard for being generally pants.

i agree the problem is being too defensive and being happy with 1-0s when we cant even hold them.

we still need a few top class central midfielders. and what wingers can we get

In my opinion, Giggs hasn't been in form for quite a while. The only time that he has picked up his game, in the last few years, was when rumours came out about him moving clubs. The kick up the rear syndrome.

Ok man u fans since you love comparing yourselves to chelsea.

The first season they spent big they didnt have mourinho and did they finish top? no.
The second season where they brought mourinho in they still spent but less then the previous year, he mainly achieved more with the same players as the previous manager had.

Real madrid vs barcelona last week, Real madrids team worth 50% more then barcelona but they were a class apart barcelona easily dominating the game, mainly due to more team spirit and fitness levels.

The fact that man u beat chelsea is proof that the team is capable, the problem is the team isnt up to it against lesser team or/and ferguson is becoming figured out by other managers.

wenger has the same problem at arsenal, his team has become too predictable and results have suffered as a result.

The next season they spent BIG again and then won it.

All they needed was any manager with a measure of quality and they were guaranteed success.

And lest we all forget, Jose himself would not have won the Champions League with Porto if Paul Scholes perfectly legitamate goal had not been disallowed.

Money helps but doesnt garantuee anything, but I think ill give up trying to explain that now. I am of the opinion man u's current squad is more then capable of redoing the triple and their problem lies with the manager and fitness level's.

I thought that I would post this in this thread, instead of the RIP thread, to keep that peaceful...

It was a similar scene at Millwall's New Den where a section of the Leeds fans also led to the tribute being cut short.

It was good to see the majority of football fans being united in paying their respects though.

Highbury, of course, was 100% silent, despite both team's fans not being the greatest admirers of Manchester United. Liverpool and Leeds fans should grow up a bit, there are more important things than football sometimes.

My son just said 'Arsenal' for the first time. Great, except that he's been saying 'Chelsea' for months. Grr. Bloody Mourinho.

yes some people have nothing better to do and are so small minded they can't even respect a minutes silence for one of the greatest players who ever lived and certainly the best player from the UK

it's been the same on some of the message boards as well

hope they find out who did the booing and ban them for life

still room for improvement though.. we had all the chances and only won 2-1.. throught VDS could have done more for the goal and apart rfom 2 passes Park did nothing

at the moment the best crosser we have in the whole squad is Gary Neville
